Multi-boom face drill rigs (“boomers”), bolting machines (“bolters”) and shotcrete sprayers have this characteristic in common: they work long hours in the same position. During that time, they are powered through a low voltage cable reel, and some of them require a water supply from a hose reel.
The Conductix-Wampfler families of reels that cater for those applications are NAMI / CWR. From a common design base, they are adjusted to your machine by our experts.
Tunnel Boring Machines are used to bore the tunnels for metro, railways, highways, aqueducts, and wastewater. They are built especially for one project and their main components are reused for future projects. These very powerful machines require High Voltage power and operate on kilometric travel lengths. They also require water and slurries to be carried to the drilling head, and muds to be removed.
The Conductix-Wampfler families of reels designed for Tunnel Boring Machines are Orion/Hydra level wind reels for High Voltage power and AVTM for fluids handling. From a predefined design base, they are adjusted to your machine by our experts.
