Trailing Cable Reels
Motor-Driven Reels
Conductix-Wampfler Trailing Cable Reels are focused on powering the large crawler excavators used in open-pit mining and quarries. They are engineered to the dimensions of the excavator: space between the crawlers and under its rotating house.
Trailing Cable Reels safely and reliably power the biggest machines worldwide in all climates and all altitudes since decades. Their structure protects the cable from falling debris and blocks on the ground. The winding system is very sturdy and the guiding devices is adapted to a smooth handling of the cable to increase its lifetime.
Slip rings from Conductix-Wampfler proven series are included in a waterproof housing inside the Trailing Cable Reels drums.
We offer a complete system from the plug or coupler to the cable and the reel.
